It only takes one angry employee to do some damage to the entire workplace with just a few clicks. They can install harmful malware or delete important files. The best way to protect this from happening is limit their access to the systems. For example the marketing department may not need to have the privilege of getting into finance files or admin settings so restrict their access to the files they do need to complete their tasks.
Aside from a disgruntled employee it could just be that the websites that are being visited are corrupt or not business appropriate. Adult sites or streaming sites can leave behind trojans and malware that will infect the device and then the network is connected to. Be sure to block all inappropriate websites that should not be used at the workplace.
